Amazon.com’s shopping cart page has a feature whereby items can be set aside from the current checkout but still visible for later purchase. It’s called “Save For Later.” This functionality is now available in Zen Cart with my Save for Later contribution. I hope you like it!
Things are slow right now. You’re spending less time on sales, less time on support. How can you best spend the free time you have now to create value in your business?
One idea is to build a video portfolio on YouTube demonstrating the use of your products. Take a look at my client CropStop.com on YouTube, showing how to use QuicKutz, Boss Kut and Cuttlebug scrapbooking dies, embossing folders and storage sleeves.
Take a look at what That Software Guy did in 2008:
- External Polling Sidebox
- Integrated Zen Cart Promotional Page
- Big Upsell
- Dymo Labels for Zen Cart
- Newsletter Discount
- Quantity Discounts by Dollars Spent
- Blog Integration
- Better Together Admin Panel
- Better Together Version 2
- Spender AutoCoupon and Chooser AutoCoupon
- Wishpot Integration
- Combination Discounts Admin Panel
2009 will be just as exciting … stay tuned.
The Better Together Admin Panel has been upgraded with a feature called “Set Inactive” that allows you to temporarily disable discounts instead of deleting them. The upgrade fee to get this feature is $10 for prior purchasers of Better Together Admin.
