Overview:
Zen Cart has a native quantity discounting mechanism which is built into the product. It allows you to discount bulk purchases of a single item. I also have a Quantity Discounts mod, which allows you to set discounts on groups of products, with various definitions for what makes up a group.This mod is for users of the native quantity discounting mechanism.
One of the downsides of Zen Cart's native quantity discounting mechanism is that discounts need to be defined one-at-a-time for every single product you wish to discount. If you discount all the products in category 3 using a schedule like "Buy 3, get 5% off; buy 10 get 10% off," you have to set this up for every single product in category 3.
Copy Native Quantity Discounts allows you to set the discounting level once, and then copy the discounts to every product in the master category with a single click. A link is provided at the top of the Quantity Discounts area on the Products Price Manager page.
